Volvo S40 launched the new site for some time. Last but Volvo has snuck a different model in the line-up, the new model is the S40 D5 - or in plain language, S40 Diesel. Anxious to respond to its biggest competitor pages - Saab - S40 D5 use the same diesel engine, which are discussed in the Volvo XC90 D5. The S40 D5 go a little further than the Saab 9-3 diesel fuel. The engine of the S40 has an additional cylinder and moving a little more than a half-litre. Of course, one could expect greater fuel consumption figure - right? Wrong. This statement could not be farther from the truth. Equipped as standard equipment, Volvo uses a particulate filter to trap and remove soot that some diesel engines produce. It also reduces particulate emissions by more than 90 percent
